The North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River (aka the “CDA”) is a freestone that starts in the panhandle of northern Idaho and flows south through the Silver Valley more than 50 miles through a deep, rugged forest before draining into Lake Coeur d’Alene. It is a wonderful fishery which offers gorgeous scenery, clear emerald green waters, aggressive Westslope Cutthroat Trout that love to eat dry flies, and ample places to camp right next to the river.
There is a ton of water here, and between all the flat sections and the local angling pressure, it is difficult to figure out where to fish. This guide will show you specific coordinates to where the best fishing spots are, and how to reach them. I'll tell you where to fish, where to park, what you'll catch, and how to have the best fly fishing excursion -- for a day or more, alone or with friends!
Here's what you get with each purchase.
