At the intersection of Washington, Oregon and Idaho, a little known steelhead river called the Grande Ronde empties into the mighty Snake River. The fly fishing in this area combines spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and brilliant, reel-sizzling steelhead trout on a wadeable river that you can cast across.
As with all steelheading, you're far more likely to be skunked than find success.
