At the intersection of Washington, Oregon and Idaho, a little known steelhead river called the Grande Ronde empties into the mighty Snake River. The fly fishing in this area combines spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, and brilliant, reel-sizzling steelhead trout on a wadeable river that you can cast across.
As with all steelheading, you're far more likely to be skunked than find success. As with all fly fishing, it's not enough to find river access ... to catch fish, one needs to know the spots where the fish are holding, and the pressure is minimal. I've invested weeks on this river and know exactly where those spots are.
This self-guided experience will guide you to specific coordinates where the best fishing spots are, and how to reach them via hiking trails. I'll tell you how to get there, where to camp, where to park, what hot spots to fish, what you'll catch, and how to have the best fly fishing excursion -- for a day or more, alone or with friends!
Here's what you get with each purchase.
