The Hams Fork River is a hidden gem that descends the rugged mountains north of Kemmerer, WY and meanders through classic southwest Wyoming terrain to meet the Green River. It is not well-known or heavily fished, and there are plenty of public access points ... but there is a particularly special section (on private land, with a way to access) that offers unbelievable fishing for big trout. This tour is it, and I know just the fly for you to use as well, to catch strong, feisty 3-5lb trout on the fly. ALL. DAY. LONG!
The water here is very hard to read, especially on cloudy days, so it is difficult to figure out where the fish are holding and eating. This guide will tell you exactly where the fish are, and the fly that gets them to the net consistently. I'll tell you where to park, where to fish, what you'll catch, and how to have the best fly fishing excursion -- for a day or more, alone or with friends!
