For those who want to escape the always-crowded Provo and Weber Rivers, here are 3 excellent tailwater fly fishing experiences within 2 hours of downtown SLC (and within 1 hour of Park City). These are truly "hidden gems" that will get you into Arctic Grayling, native Cutthroat Trout (2 species), Brookies, and large Brown Trout.
The fly fishing in all these areas combine spectacular scenery, walk and wade access, and fishing without the crowds. These are all small creek experiences that -- once you go --you'll want to keep to yourself like the locals do! Since they're all tailwaters they fish well during spring runoff or storms when many other rivers are blown out. Easily a day trip, overnight, or even multi-day experience.
This self-guided experience (sold in limited quantities) will guide you to specific coordinates (on all 3 creeks) where the best fishing spots are, and how to reach them. I'll tell you where to park, where to walk, what hot spots to fish, what you'll catch, and how to have the best fly fishing excursion -- for a day or more, alone or with friends!
Here's what you get with each purchase.
